(New) Bookings for Private Instructions
The following article outlines customized functionality to use Resource Scheduling and Bookings for Private Instructions.
When building a Private Instruction product under Ticketing Setup-->Performances, add the following under the Content Tab:
- Booking
Template “Private Lessons w/o Loc(yc)"
This will flag this product to use the following functionality.
When processing a private instruction order, use the Custom Tab to do one of the following:·
- Enter Instrument
- Enter Instructor
- Select Auto-Sched BookingAssigns
- (none) – leave if not ready to create
booking
- Bi-Weekly (1st Assigned Date Req)
– select if student will be a bi-weekly student. 1st date of
instruction must be entered in Bookings. Backend process will run using that
first date and create new booking assignments for dates bi-weekly following.
- Weekly (1st Assigned Date Req)
– select if student will be a weekly student. 1st date of
instruction must be entered in Bookings. Backend process will run using that
first date and create new booking assignments for dates each week following.
- Manual Entry – Select to have # of rows
created for bookings equal to # of instructions purchased. Dates for these
bookings will match the date of the performance build. Dates then can be
manually adjusted later.
Marking Attendance/Payroll
- If student attends – no action needed
- If student is no show (no make up lesson,
instructor to be paid)
- Go into booking to the date of the missed
lesson, mark as absent in Editing AssignmentsàNotes
section. Backend process will read this as a no show on payroll report
- If student needs to reschedule, go to booking
and assign new date (if known)
- If student needs to reschedule and new date is
unknown, edit the booking to a dummy date in the future.
Special Considerations:
- When backend creates new assignments in
bookings, ignore conflicts will be set to ON
- When editing assignments, ignore conflicts shuts
OFF, needs to be checked back ON
